Although we will only live for couples of tens, but does it mean we need to live life to the fullest or to the extend where it won't hurt people around us. ??
Oh yes, there are often bitterness in life. Lost of love ones, lost of motivation, lost of direction, lost of self esteem, lost of soul. But as the saying goes, there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Nothing can be wrong all the times, there must be some good times to come.
Native American used to have this ceremony, soul searching for the young boys. The boys need to travel into the woods with limited gears to ensure that they are safe and will not go hungry, they need to scouts the forest to find whom they are. It could be an eagle, bear, etc. And yes, some of these boys may never return.
I wonder I should never be judgemental about a person. Always leave a space in between for them to grow. :)
Just saw a book on things you must do before you turn 35. Chinese version at Popular the other day. May be I should bought one and read myself to sleep. Who knows what will happen, right?
